Frequently asked questions
How do I convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG?
Open HEIC to JPG, drop one or more .heic photos and download the JPGs one by one or as a ZIP. The conversion runs in your browser, so it works on Windows, Mac, Android and Chromebook without installing anything.
Which image formats can I convert to?
JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF. Pick the output format on the tool page. HEIC photos can be converted from, but not to.
What happens to transparency when I convert PNG to JPG?
JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white. Converting to PNG or WebP keeps transparency. JPG and WebP have a quality slider; PNG is lossless.
How do I make a photo smaller?
Use Reduce File Size, which re-compresses the image and never returns a bigger file, or convert PNG to JPG or JPG to WebP, which is usually much smaller at the same visual quality.
Can I convert many images at once?
Yes. Add several files, convert them in one run, then download each image or all of them as one ZIP.
