Documents are parsed in your browser with JavaScript libraries (SheetJS for spreadsheets, marked for Markdown) and written as PDF with pdf-lib and an embedded Unicode font. Nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Does Word to PDF keep my formatting?

Word to PDF keeps headings, bold and italic, lists, tables and images from .docx files, but it does not reproduce every layout detail of Microsoft Word. Old .doc files are read as text only, so save them as .docx first for full formatting.

Does Excel to PDF include formulas and charts?

No. Excel to PDF prints every sheet as a gridded table of the values, without formulas or charts. Excel to CSV and Excel to JSON also export values, not formulas.

How are nested JSON objects converted to CSV?

JSON to CSV flattens nested objects into dotted columns such as address.city, with one row per object. CSV to JSON does the reverse, keyed by the header row.

Does CSV to Excel keep leading zeros?

Yes. Numbers are stored as numbers, and values with leading zeros, such as ZIP codes and phone numbers, are kept as text.

Can I open old .doc, .xls and .ppt files?

Yes. Old .xls workbooks are read completely. Old .doc and .ppt files are read as text only and laid out on clean PDF pages.
